Reading is Magic

‘Reading is Magic’ – 2024 CBCA Book Week theme, and you won’t find a better book to pair it with, “When You Open a Book”. Author, Caroline Derlatka and illustrator, Sara Ugolotti have come together to create something magical. As a bonus, grab this 20-page bundle to explore the free base < read >. Included, you’ll find one of my favourite bookmarks, a word matrix, analytic and synthetic word sum activities, morphemes that can be cut out and manipulated to create word sums and build words, and plenty of pages for colouring.
